Description
Foldwing is the one-button endless flyer, rebuilt for spatial computing. You pinch your fingers — either hand, anywhere — to flap an origami paper crane through an endless bamboo grove, threading the gaps between stalks in a cel-shaded world inspired by Japanese pop art and papercraft.
Fly in full immersion, or keep passthrough on and let the course drift across your living room. Every day, the Daily Challenge gives the entire world the same course: three attempts, streaks to protect, and a spoiler-free result to share. Between flights, every gate cleared builds your lifetime rank — from Hatchling to Legend of the Grove — each rank unlocking a new folded bird. Nothing that affects play is ever sold.
The story
Foldwing is built by a solo developer whose most demanding QA team is his own kids — who kept stealing the simulator to play "one more try" before the game even had its bird. Every asset is procedural: the bamboo, the cranes, the icon, and all of the audio are generated from code, which is why an origami game could be built by one person.
