The short version
Foldwing collects no personal data and performs no tracking. There are no analytics, no advertising, no accounts, and no third-party SDKs. The app's App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected," and this page exists to explain why that's true.
Hand tracking
Foldwing uses Apple's on-device hand tracking so you can pinch your fingers to flap. All hand-tracking processing happens on your device through Apple's ARKit. Foldwing never records, stores, or transmits hand data — the game only reacts, in the moment, to whether a pinch occurred.
Surroundings
At the start of a flight, Foldwing reads your headset's height once so the course appears at your eye level. This uses Apple's on-device world tracking. Nothing about your room is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Your progress
Best scores, ranks, unlocked birds, and settings are stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, they're gone — we couldn't recover them if we wanted to, because we never had them.
Apple services
Two optional Apple services work the way they do in any app, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy:
- Game Center — if you're signed in, scores you post to leaderboards and achievements you earn are handled by Apple under your Apple ID. Foldwing receives no personal information from this.
- App Store purchases — optional Grove theme purchases are processed entirely by Apple. Foldwing never sees payment details.
Children
Foldwing is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone — including children.
